Anne Gorke - Nightingales

We admire what the great artists and designers started and did at the Bauhaus, and it’s still a huge inspiration for us. So it is for Anne Gorke and her fabulous fashion. For several years we worked together and captured her works. We had an excellent opportunity to shoot her collection Nightingales at Haus am Horn’s design icon one day. It was built by architects Gropius, Meyer, Muche as a sample house for the first Bauhaus exhibition in 1923. ⁠⁠

Ulrike Theusner was in front of our contax RTS camera. We shot the series only with daylight and on film to get that unique grainy look.⁠⁠
